Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams says Ghanaians have a demon which makes them report people who are doing well to authorities with the aim of destroying them.

According to the General Overseer of the Action Chapel International, this has resulted in people hiding their true worth from Ghanaians for fear of losing their jobs and wealth.

Preaching in church on Sunday he stated that, “when a new government comes into office, we will go reporting one another until we use the new government to destroy somebody before we’ll be at peace…that is the demon of Ghanaians”.

“I went to a professor’s house in Singapore…and you know what he told me, he said ‘Bishop you and Kwabena Darko are the only two Ghanaians that have been to my house. No other Ghanaian has been invited and I will not invite any’. I said why he said if any Ghanaian come and see where I am living and how blessed I am, I will lose my job,” he recalled.

Archbishop Duncan-Williams said until Ghanaians change their ways and celebrate one another, foreigners will continue to take what rightfully belongs to citizens.

“Until we learn to celebrate one another, we will never be celebrated, until we learn to celebrate one another, strangers and foreigners will take our inheritance and the inheritance of our children,” he said.

Archbishop Duncan-Williams who believes his church would have been bigger than it is now if he was in a country like Nigeria or America noted that some people hate him just because of the boldness with which he preaches.

He stressed, “There’s something about Ghanaians, we have self-hatred… there are people who don’t like me not because I have done anything against them, they just don’t like my audacity.”
