Widow of the late Member of Parliament for for Abuakwa North, Joseph Boakye Danquah murder-Ivy Heward-Mills how the husband was murdered in cold blod by some ‘’disgusting ogres’’ In a Facebook post, the widow said the husband would have turned 53 if he was still alive.

In the post, Ivy Heward-Mills said the late husband knew some individuals wanted to murder him but he was not aware they could carry out their plan. She also refuted claims of killing the husband as speculated and questioned why he will kill the husband and deprive the children of their fatherly love.

To the killers of her late husband she said, ‘’ They have taken a life they did not create and they will pay dearly for what they have done. Today, I tell them that they had no right to do what they did. God will not spare them.

He knew they were after him but he must have thought they wouldn’t carry out their evil intentions. Yet, they killed him in cold blood without a shred of empathy for a good man who has been nothing but generous to their cause and without an iota of humanity towards my poor children.
