A high powered government delegation that travelled to Dubai to lobby Emirati officials for the extradition of CEO of Menzgold, Nana Appiah Mensah has failed to return with him.
Kasapafmonline.com sources say the delegation was not allowed to meet with Ghana’s most wanted, NAM1, let alone reaching an agreement with the UAE officials for his release to them.
The delegation included Deputy Attorney General, Joseph Dindiok Kpemka, a representative from the Economic Organised Crime Office (EOCO), the Bureau of National Investigation (BNI) and National Security.
Nana Appiah Mensah, popularly known as NAM 1, was declared wanted for defrauding by false pretence and an allegation of money laundering after an Accra Circuit Court issued a warrant for his arrest last week.
