Appointments Committee Defers Approval Of Three Nominees

The Appointments Committee has suspended the approval of three ministerial nominees for appointment pending further investigations, according to JoyFM.

Greater Accra regional Minister designate Sheikh I.C.Quaye, Road and Transport Minister designate Dr Richard Anane and Central Regional Minister Isaac Edumadze are under investigation.

The final report, which was to be presented to the house, prompted debate because although the majority wanted it laid and approved, the minority disagreed because it wants to study it in detail.
