Gyan girl dodges Police

Information gathered by DAILY GUIDE has revealed that 22-year-old Sarah Kwablah, the university student who is at the centre of the Asamoah Gyan sex tape saga, is playing hide-and-seek with the police.

Despite an invitation to her by the Airport police to assist them in investigating the matter, police sources indicated that Ms Kwablah had not honoured the invitation and was nowhere to be found.

Ms Kwablah was expected to report herself to the Airport police last Thursday, after the arrest of reggae musician Lester Ekow Micah and broadcast journalist and deputy editor of the Razz newspaper, Osarfo Anthony; but checks at the station indicated that she turned down the invitation.

Superintendent Yao Tetegah, the Airport District Commander, told DAILY GUIDE yesterday that Ms Kwablah was invited to report last Thursday but two men, who claimed to be her lawyers, said she was not available.

“The police will give her ample time to report herself but if she refuses to do so, we would have no other option than to go to court to secure a warrant for her arrest,” the police officer averred.

Sarah Kwablah is the lady threatening to make public what she describes as a secretly recorded video of sexual intercourse she had with Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan.

She said she secretly recorded the video when the footballer was having sexual intercourse with her at her apartment in February this year and that she had decided to make it public because her relationship with the captain was not going as she had expected.

The 22-year-old university student claimed she got pregnant after the intercourse and was therefore demanding that Asamoah Gyan should get her a furnished apartment, a housemaid and a monthly stipend of $1,000 for antenatal care.

However, this alleged plan could not materialise when police apprehended Osarfo Anthony, a journalist contacted to write more stories on the Black Stars captain in order to force him to succumb to her demands.

Anthony was demanding a cool amount of GHc 25,000 from Asamoah Gyan after allegedly receiving an initial amount of GHc 5,000.

While investigations were ongoing, it emerged that reggae musician and president of the Music Council of Ghana, Ekow Micah, ex-boyfriend of Ms Kwablah, was also involved in the whole scheme to extort money from Asamoah Gyan.

Information gathered by the paper indicated that Sarah Kwablah dated dreadlocks-wearing Ekow Micah of ‘Me Si Wu Hemaa’ fame for almost a year before the relationship went sour.

After the break-up, the two were said to be constantly meeting even after the said sex tape issue emerged.

Further information indicated that the three were heard on tape that they were in constant touch with the assistant coach of the China club, Shanghai Sips, which Asamoah Gyan has signed for.

In the said audio, Ms Kwablah was heard saying that she had contacted the said assistant coach through a friend and that Asamoah Gyan was willing to dispatch any amount to settle the matter once and for all.
