Hearts of Oak director of football and first team head coach Kim Grant believes teams should be worried about playing the Phobians, after the club registered a second consecutive victory in the Ghana Football Association Normalisation Committee Special Competition.

On Sunday, a 43rd-minute Kojo Obeng Junior strike earned the Accra-based side a 1-0 away triumph in the matchday five fixture.

The win comes four days after they beat Ebusua Dwarfs to end a two-match losing run.

“I’m very pleased with the results because Liberty were in a good run - four games unbeaten - and they came here with determination and a thinking that they were going to beat us," Grant said after the game.

“We responded very well. We won against Dwarfs and we've won today, I’m very pleased with that.

“We kept compact and were able to stop their midfield play to make sure that we are on the front.

“To make sure [Simon] Zibo and [Emmanuel] Addo weren’t comfortable on the ball, I emphasised on pressing them high as soon as they had the ball. I was happy my tactics really worked.

“Any team that will face us is not going to [find it] easy for us. No body is going to have an easy ride with us. We will work all the way till the ninety minutes."

Hearts next play Wafa in the Special Competition.
