How to check WASSCE 2024 results from the comfort of your home

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has announced the release of provisional results and performance statistics for the 2024 WASSCE candidates.

Candidates awaiting their results can now easily access them online through the WAEC portal using a stable internet connection and a mobile phone or laptop from the comfort of their homes.

Before checking their results, candidates must purchase a result checker voucher or card on the WAEC portal or other verified official channels.

The voucher provides a PIN and serial number required to access the results and allows candidates to check their results up to three times before it expires.

Below is a detailed guide on how candidates can check their WASSCE results on the WAEC portal:

1. Log on to the official website www.waec.org

2. Enter candidate’s index number

3. Proceed to select the examination type (Candidates must choose WASSCE School)

4. Select the examination year

5. Enter your date of birth

6. Enter the serial number on the result checker voucher you purchased

7. After the serial number, enter the 12-digit PIN on the voucher

8. Enter your index number once again for confirmation

9. Enter the examination year (Candidates must select the year they wrote the exams)

10. Verify all details and proceed to submit

11. Results will be displayed in a popup window. This may take few minutes.

Candidates must remain vigilant and cautious of fraudsters who request payment for checking results or altering examination results.
