Former Accra Hearts of Oak S.C striker, Reuben Senyo has said he has no regrets over his career choice as a footballer even though he didn’t make money.
The budding attacker during his prime won the Ghana Premier League on two occasions for the rainbow boys but he has lamented that he has nothing to show as a former player.
“In fact, life after football was difficult because I didn’t have money. The truth is one, I did not get money from football. I’m not a wealthy person like those who have mansions and luxurious cars but it is life and God knows what is best for me”
“In terms of football, I didn’t get even a coin but I will always be grateful to my maker”
“Though I didn’t get money from football but I got the opportunity to learn a lot of things. Traveling abroad is what I’m proud of because I never thought of traveling but that alone is a bonus” he told Sly Wobete Koke of Bryt FM in Koforidua.
“If I die and come back again I will still play football despite not getting money,” he said.
