The Vice Chancellor of the University of Professional Studies (UPSA) Prof. Joshua Alabi has revealed that besides his intimidating physique, he is “a natural bully.”

Speaking on Starr 103.5 FM’s personality profile show - Starr Chat - on Wednesday, the former Member of Parliament for the Krowor Constituency in the Greater Accra region from 1997 to 2000 said until he gets things done his way, he never gives up.

“I’m a natural bully,” the one-time Greater Accra regional minister told his host Bola Ray.

He added: “I want to have things my way and because I want results… You can qualify it. I want to have things my way. I don’t go outside the rules of the game. When you are focused you don’t get worried.”

Having led a team to transform UPSA, Prof. Alabi said he has decided to stay off the limelight because he wants to focus on his work.

“I’m lying low to achieve results. As you move on there will be one or two problems. Too much publicity is also not good,” the former Minister of State for the Northern region stated.

Prof. Alabi was born on 1st March, 1958. He is currently the Vice Chancellor of the University of Professional Studies (UPSA). He is an Economist by training and a Marketer by Profession. He is an Associate Professor in Marketing and a graduate of two prestigious Institutions - MSc. in Industrial Economics, 1986 from Moscow Institute of National Economy and an MSc. in International Marketing from the Strachylide University (1992) where he graduated and won the Mashod Abiola Prize in Marketing.
