The founder and leader of the Lord’s Parliament Chapel, Prophet Amoako Atta, has refuted allegations that he predicted renowned Ghanaian musician, Kwabena Akwaboah Jnr, would marry his daughter.

He stated that the musician is a member of his congregation and was informed about his pregnancy with one of the church ushers ten years ago. The pastor mentioned that, after being informed, he summoned both Akwaboah and the lady to resolve the matter amicably.

Prophet Amoako further clarified that he had never foretold that Akwaboah would wed his daughter under any circumstances.

Addressing the audience at Akwaboah's wedding ceremony and monitored by GhanaWeb, the prophet urged the public to dismiss the accusations, labelling them as fabricated lies aimed at tarnishing his reputation.

“There were assertions that I predicted Akwaboah could not marry the lady. Someone even penned a letter suggesting that the lady Akwaboah is marrying is a pastor’s wife’s secretary. By doing this, you jeopardize the child's [Akwaboah's baby mama] well-being because she maintains a positive relationship with him.

"I wish to inform the bloggers and rumor-mongers that there is no veracity to these claims. Akwaboah’s child's mother is an usher in my church who confided in me about the pregnancy a decade ago,” he declared.
