The founder and leader of Glorious Word Power Ministry International, Rev Isaac Owusu Bempah, has refuted assertions in the public that he prophesied that the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party, Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia would lose the December 7, 2024, presidential elections.

Reacting to a viral video of him prophesying that Dr. Bawumia would lose the pending election in an interview on Okay FM, on Thursday, June 13, 2024, Rev Owusu Bempah stated that the video was fake.

According to him, even though he knows who would win the election, he has never stood on any platform to reveal its outcome.

“It is a gentleman called Rashark, a blogger, who has caused this problem. I don’t know why he did that, but the video was cut and paste. It was a doctored video; I didn’t say the things in the video.

“Because everyone would bear me witness that I have never stood somewhere and prophesied about the political party that is going to win the election and the one who would lose,” he said in Twi.

He added that the vice president is his friend and he is praying for his dream to take over from President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

“The vice president is someone I like very much and he also likes me very much. It is true that I have meetings with him and we meet for good reasons. I meet with him for the good of Ghana. I’m supporting him with prayers and the truth is that I will continue praying for him all the time.”
