Undercover journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas has revealed that he has not undertaken any investigative project on Ghana’s parliament.

“Did I tell you I was doing an investigation in parliament? When did I say this? Prove to me…I have not done any work in parliament. If I have done work in parliament I will release it,” he said in an interview on Accra-based Joy FM on Thursday 28 June 2018.

Some critics have accused Anas who recently released the Number 12 documentary which exposed corruption in Ghana football of being selective in his work.

Information has been rife on social media that the award-winning journalist has shelved undercover documentary on parliament in order to protect some people.

But Mr Anas insists: “I will be stupid to follow someone’s comments and because of that I come out with a story. I will make sure I prepare well because at the end of the day if I am sued you will not be there to help me, I have to be there to defend myself”.

He continued: “Those who say I have removed [someone] let them prove it. When I removed, how I removed and for what purpose I removed the person”.

He however indicated that he will be embarking on additional projects which will be released when completed both in Ghana and other African countries after the success of the Number 12 documentary.
