Flagbearer aspirant of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Sylvester Mensah says the fact that he picked the fourth position on the ballot paper means he will emerge the flagbearer of the party and subsequently win the 2020 election.
According to him, three heads of state has emerged from the party and picking number 4, will make him the fourth President in NDC.
Speaking to Nana Yaw Kesse, sit-in host of Peace FM morning show ‘Kokrokoo’, Sylvester Mensah said: “the number four is very significant…I thank God for giving me number four…we have had three presidents in NDC and so it means I will be the fourth; Sylvester Mensah will emerge the flagbearer of the party”.
“The main idea is to engage the branches and delegates for them to develop confidence in our message and that is what will bring victory and I am very confident that I will emerge as the flagbearer. The general message is change…people want to change” he added.
