Turkey lower division side Istanbulspor have cancelled the contract of Ghana defender Jerry Akaminko.
Istanbulspor abrogated their deal with the center-back hours to the close of the transfer window.
Akaminko moved to Istanbulspor before the start of the season but would endure a frustrating time with the Club.
The 30-year-old has been released to move elsewhere just months after sealing a deal with the Club.
The former Ghana U17 captain has struggled to command a place in team since returning from a horrendous injury which kept him out for a year.
He could look out for a new challenge having spent all his playing career in Turkey featuring for the likes of Orduspor, Manisaspor and Eski?ehirspor
