The Attorney General’s department has requested a new docket from state prosecutors handling the murder of the late Abuakwa North Member of Parliament, JB Danquah-Adu, after new suspects were arrested.
Vincent Bosso, a phone repairer and one suspect whose name has only being given as Avenger are the two new suspects arrested alongside the main suspect Daniel Asiedu.
Class News’ court correspondent Nabil Ahmed Rufai reported Thursday June 2 that: “With the arrest of Vincent Bosso aka Junior Agogo and another whose name has only been given as Avenger, today when the state prosecutors appeared in court they said the Attorney General has asked for a new docket that will capture all the suspects arrested so far in connection with the murder of the MP so that they can give an advice on the matter”.
Vincent Bosso was arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit murder. He is believed to have aided the main suspect, Daniel Asiedu, to scale the wall into the MP’s Shiashie residence in Accra where the crime took place.
The lawyer for Vincent Bosso, Mr Augustine Obuor has however, challenged state prosecutors to back their claim arguing that there, was not enough proof to connect his client to the murder. Mr Danquah-Adu was killed on Tuesday February 9 at his Shiashie residence in Accra.
