Ghanaian Kevin-Prince Boateng is desperate to play his first match for Besiktas after joining the Turkish giants on loan from Fiorentina on deadline day.
Reports in Turkey suggest Boateng could make his debut this weekend against Gaziantep in the league.
“I can hardly wait for the game on Saturday. I spoke to trainer Sergen Yalcin and he said to me: 'I know what you are capable of doing, if you can show it, you will be of great help to the team.," Boateng said.
The 32-year-old decided to leave Fiorentina in the winter transfer after struggling to find his feet in the first half of the season.
He scored one goal in 15 appearances in all competitions.
