“If we [NPP] can’t beat them [NDC] by their criminal strategy of winning elections, then we will join them,” a member of the opposition New Patriotic Party and former KMA Boss has said.

Maxwell Kofi Jumah believes it is time for the NPP leadership to learn how to rig elections rather than being open-minded.

He claimed that the National Democratic Congress has always arranged the outcome of elections with a well-oiled election fraud machine. Adding that, “they have never truly won an election."

According to him, the NPP must do away with the “holiness” in the party and practice what can win them power in 2016, thus, “rigging”.

Speaking on OKAY FM’s morning show Ade Akye Abia, the former NPP lawmaker affectionately called “Kofi Ghana” said, the NPP must not seek the court for electoral misconducts again when they have every right to adapt "rigging" tactics to win elections.

“NPP must learn how to rig elections to win power. We can’t look on whiles the NDC have masterminded in winning elections in dubious ways. Going to court to seek clarification is just a waste of time whiles we [NPP] can also rig,” he said.

However, Kofi Jumah is of a view that, though two-time presidential candidate, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo can win election 2016, the NDC might rig again looking at how poorly their leader, [John Dramani Mahama] has performed as president.
