I cannot believe how widely such self-cannibalization still exists in the NPP!! I have been cautioning the NPP leadership to manage the likes of Kofi Jumah well to enhance the law-abiding image of the Party. Yet, we keep hearing and seeing folks like him taking the front-stage only to muddy the waters further for the Party.

When we insisted that supporters of Akufo-Addo should use decorous means to persuade Alan and the other contestants to accept the former's proposed sole candidacy for the Flagbearer, instead of resorting to livid insults and intimidation on the other candidates and their supporters, we got pummeled ourselves by the same culprits, thus, unsettling the deeper waters of the Party.

Surely, criticisms by opposing contestants for the Flagbearer position is an embraced part of the democratic system to which the the Party is committed. However, those criticisms, we strongly believe, do not have to be so vile and vicious that they carcinogenically destroy the cells of the Party from both ends.

Now, Kofi Jumah and Ken Agyapong have both chosen to infect the Party with yet their 'cancer-causing' instigations!! If the NPP opposition were to take Kofi Jumah seriously, it would then bank on this utterance of his to claim the NPP may have stolen the votes, should the 2016 Elections go the Elephant's way.

That would give the NDC a basis for seeking a Court redress, too, for any likely NPP win. Besides, such an utterance betrays the core value of the NPP as the strongest pursuer of democracy among the Parties in Ghana.

And that behavior must be vehemently rejected by the NPP leadership. The People must be assured of the Party's quest for a better, cleaner, voting experience in the next Election so that it would not take the Supreme Court to decide the winner. Period!

TO LISTEN TO A SENIOR MEMBER OF THE PARTY TO MAKE SUCH IRRESPONSIBLE STATEMENT, IS A VERY SAD STATE OF GHANA POLITICS ESPECIALLY WHEN NOONE IN THE NPP HAS SINCE NOT COME OUT TO SAY SOMETHING CREDIBLE IN RESPONSE TO THE UNFORTUNATE STATEMENT WHICH HAS DETRIMENTAL IMPLICATIONS WHICH COULD BRING NPP INTO DISREPUTE AND LOSING IT'S INTERNATIONAL CREDIBILITY AND RESPECT. THE LEADERS OF NPP MUST MAKE A PUBLIC STATEMENT TO DISSOCIATE THEMSELVES FROM THE SHAMEFUL STATEMENT.

Get rid of this guy.NP lost the last two elections to rigging .They will not loose again.NDC is in the toilet were they've been since their inception.They will win with out rigging the next one.
