The Ghana Military Academy (GMA) is holding a graduation ceremony for its cadets who have successfully completed their training on Friday, April 11, 2025.

This year, a total of personnel from Regular Career Course 63 are graduating, marking the end of an intensive military and academic training programme designed to prepare officer cadets for leadership roles in the Ghana Armed Forces.

The ceremony is being held at the Military Academy and Training Schools (MATS) in Teshie, Accra, and is graced by the Commander-in-Chief of the Ghana Armed Forces, President John Dramani Mahama, along with senior officers, dignitaries, family members, and invited guests.

Graduation ceremonies at the GMA are traditionally significant events, showcasing the discipline, endurance, and transformation of cadets into commissioned officers.

The Regular Career Course is a core component of the Academy’s officer commissioning programme, and successful completion signifies the cadets’ readiness to serve with honour and professionalism in Ghana’s security architecture.

The event includes a parade, presentation of awards, and the official commissioning of the cadets as junior officers.
