LIVESTREAMED: Sammy Gyamfi speaks

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Ghana Gold Board (GoldBod), Sammy Gyamfi, is taking his turn at the Government Accountability Series today, Wednesday, August 19, 2026.

Sammy Gyamfi, who is also the National Communications Officer of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), is expected to give an account of his stewardship of the board thus far.

He is also expected to speak on the successes of GoldBod, especially its contribution to the stability of Ghana’s currency.

He is also likely to respond to recent allegations against GoldBod, including the allegation of a driver stealing over GH¢200 million and the board making millions of dollars in losses.
