Former Vice President Paa Kwesi Bekoe Amissah-Arthur has called on members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to focus on invigorating the party ahead of the 2020 presidential and parliamentary elections.
In a tweet to congratulate the party for the successful conduct of its constituency elections held nationwide on Saturday, 23 June 2018, Mr Amissah-Arthur said every participant was a winner.
“You made it peaceful and great as always. Thanks for playing your part in Saturday’s constituency elections. Congratulations to all; you are all winners. Let’s continue to focus on invigorating our party. We can do it!” his tweet read.
Meanwhile, Director of Elections of the NDC, Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo, has said the elections were satisfactory and successful.
Mr Ofosu-Ampofo disclosed that the party has constituted a committee to resolve any fall-outs from the elections.
