Civil society group, Forum for Governance and Justice says President Mahama has displayed authority and total control of his vision for Ghana through his reshuffle of regional ministers.
According to the group, the reasons given for the reshuffle indicate that the President is serious about his promise to unite Ghanaians and foster inter-ethnic coexistence.
Critics of the President including pro opposition groups say the reshuffle betrays the President’s indecisiveness.
But the Convenor of the Forum for Governance and Justice, Dr Clement Apaak, speaking to XYZ News said the critics are barking up the wrong tree.
“I think Mahama has displayed authority and control over the way he wants to run this country and the government.
“Those who are saying that he should have done that from the onset…does the President need permission from them before he does what he does…those are basic propagandist questions.”
