Ghanaians will retain President John Mahama in the upcoming elections because he is humble and Peace-loving, Communications Minister Dr. Edward Omane Boamah has said.
According to him, the President has proven over the years that he has the ability to unify people and ensure peace among Ghanaians.
Speaking to Nana Aba Anamoah at the Cape Coast Stadium, where the party is launching its campaign, the presidential spokesperson said there are clear signs that Ghanaians are satisfied with the performance of Mr. Mahama.
“Ghanaians will vote for John Mahama because he is humble and it is that kind of leadership Ghana needs. Ghanaians want people who love peace and the President has shown over the years that he is peace loving and brings everyone on board,” he said.
Meanwhile, miniature flags of the ruling party are all over electric poles on all major streets in Cape Coast as the party readies to launch its manifesto.
The theme of the launch is “Changing Lives, Transforming Ghana”. Already, the general secretary of the party Johnson Asiedu Nketia has arrived at the venue awaiting the president and his vice.
