A formal National Organizer of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC), Yaw Boateng Gyan has rubbished suggestions that the final rally held by their opponents and largest opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), has shaken the foundation of the party.

The NPP held its final rally at the Trade Fair Centre on Sunday where thousands of party supporters joined executives and the presidential candidate and his running mate to wrap up their campaign for the general polls.

Some have suggested that the number that stormed the rally grounds was a confirmation that the NPP is going to win the polls. However, Mr. Boateng Gyan has debunked the claims and slammed those making the comments.

According to him, the massive crowd that stormed the venue is deceptive and any serious politician will not bag his or her hopes on the crowd to clinch election victory. Ghanaians he noted are going to vote on a number of reasons and voters have already made up their minds. When asked if he was optimistic of victory for the party, he said, ‘’ even if the results are contested and recounted and election organized for five times, President Mahama will still win the polls.’’

By the end of the election, President Mahama will win by a one touch victory. Majority of Ghanaians are rooting for Mahama. They want him to retain his seat so he continues to do his good works.

He has invested heavily in infrastructure and the people and so he will win this year’s election by a landslide victory, ‘’ he stated.

Mr. Yaw Boateng Gyan also chided critics of Mahama over claims that he’s done little despite the resources available to him.

Such individuals he indicated are only engaging in political propaganda, bias and have failed to appreciate the efforts of President Mahama.

The NDC he emphasized is winning hands down and has called on the opposition to prepare for defeat.
