Manhyia announces roadblocks as Otumfuo celebrates Addaekese

Manhyia Palace in the Ashanti Region has announced that some roads in the regional capital of Kumasi, leading to the Palace, will be blocked on Sunday, May 12, 2024.

This is due to the King of the Ashanti Kingdom, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, welcoming dignitaries to his kingdom for the Addaekese.

Only cars with approved stickers will be allowed to use the restricted roads.

Additionally, tricycles, popularly known as 'pragia,' have been banned from being used around Manhyia throughout the day.
