The Former Second Lady Mrs. Matilda Amissah-Arthur, as part of the One-year Anniversary of the Late Husband together with the family, have donated educational needs to the Moree Senior High School that was named after her Husband H.E Kwesi Amissah-Arthur.
The government of Ghana decided to re-name Moree Senior High School in the Central Region after the late former Vice-President Kwesi Bekoe Amissah-Arthur as a sign of respect to the former second gentleman of the nation.
Accompanied by the Mother of the Late Vice President, the late Vice President’s children Kwesi and Araba, the Former Energy Minister Hon. Kofi Buah and the Omanhene of British Secondi Nana Kwabena Nketia II, Mrs. Amissah Arthur encouraged the students to learn hard to become future leaders.
Over the years, Mrs. Matilda Amissah Arthur has been consistent in ensuring that children, not only enroll in school but also read and complete school and become better future leaders.
The former Second Lady who’s known for her caregiving has proven herself to be a woman of strength, vision, and foresight and does not slack in pursuing her mission in fulfilling her set goals.
Mrs Matilda Amissah Arthur remains a strong advocate on issues relating to children and has been a vanguard of the fight for the less privileged in society.
