Founder of the All Peoples Congress (APC), Hassan Ayariga, has prayed to the almighty God to forgive the sins of former Vice President Kwasi Amissah-Arthur.
Mr Amissah-Arthur died on Friday, 29 June 2018.
Reports indicated that he collapsed at the Airforce Gym on Friday morning during a workout session, and was rushed to the 37 Military Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Mr Ayariga speaking on this development on the Ghana Yensom show on Accra100.5FM Friday June 29, said : “ May Allah protect him and forgive him of his sins wherever he is. We are all sad with the development.”
He added: “This is a man who never used abusive words against his opponents in the campaign, he has a calm personality.”
Amissah-Arthur was the sixth Vice-President of Ghana, in office from 6 August 2012 until 7 January 2017, under President John Dramani Mahama. Previously, he was Governor of the Bank of Ghana from 2009 to 2012.
