AC Milan and Roma are closely monitoring Red Star Belgrade striker Richmond Boakye and could engage in a bidding battle for the Ghanaian.
The 26-year-old is enjoying a great season with the Serbian champions, scoring four goals in the Champions League.
Football outlet Hotsport report that scouts of Milan and Roma watched Boakye-Yiadom in Tuesday night’s Champions League game against Olympiakos.
The reports add that the scout was impressed with the output of the striker whose 90th-minute strike sealed a 3-1 victory for Olympiakos.
His agent Olivier Arthur confirmed the interest of the two clubs but was quick to add that he will always prioritize the player’s interest and future.
He said: “The interest of the clubs exists and it is important that they continue to confirm their qualities continuously. The deadline will be in January and then we will be able to talk about the next steps.”
