A seasoned Journalist and a member of Media for Justice and Accountability Kwabena Bobie Ansah has threatened to soon name five ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) stalwarts who have in their possession some of the vehicles purported to be missing from the Presidency.

Mr Bobie Ansah hinted that the group will make a formal compliant on Wednesday about the NPP bigwigs with the stolen cars to the police since the acting Communications Director at the Flagstaff House Eugene Arhin has refused to do same.

According to him, the NPP is throwing dust in the eyes of the public by crying foul over the missing cars just to score cheap political points.

Mr Ansah alleged that some of the missing vehicles are in possession of one of the vigilante groups of the party Invincible Forces which have been seizing cars from appointees of erstwhile Mahama’s administration.

The Journalist questioned why the Acting Communications Director at the Flagstaff House is playing the ostrich when he knows the names behind the missing cars.

He alleged that Eugene is scared to approach leaders of Invincible Forces for collection of the cars and have resorted to ‘unnecessary’ media banter.

‘By the end of this week we Media for Justice and Accountability will mention names of NPP gurus who have some of the stolen cars in their possession. We will give the public evidence of our claims,’ he threatened.

Speaking on Abusua FM’s Abusua Nkommo hosted by Kwame Adinkra, an incensed Ansah asked why members of NDC have developed headaches over the allegation of the missing cars when their names have not been mentioned publicly by Eugene Arhin.

He charged the government to collect the cars from people believed to have stolen asking if the various missing cars do not have registration numbers, brand and colours.

‘My worry has to do with Eugene’s refusal to mention names of people who have purportedly stolen the cars. He knows that Invincible Forces have stolen some of the cars from the presidency but he is scared to voice it out. I think NDC’s approach was also wrong. I think NDC should have been on the neck of NPP per the documents and told them in the face to look for the missing cars and stop pointing fingers. Where are the cars seized during the operations of Invincible Forces, Abronye DC and his team, how many have they seized so far and where are the cars?.

How can we account for the cars?, are these cars part of the missing cars from the presidency?. Can civilians also attack Invincible Forces driving government cars?, something needs to be done to prevent something untoward,’ he said.

The Journalist called on the Akufo-Addo’s government to use the right channel to retrieve the missing cars asking why Eugene refused to do due diligence when the documents were handed over to him.

‘We should use the right ways to retrieve the cars but not a violent or thuggery means,’ he suggested.
