Sam Payne, Ashanti Regional Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has disclosed that the National Democratic Congress’ opposition to the EC compilation of new voters’ register is an attempt to stir chaos in this year's elections.
According to him, the NDC is preparing the grounds to reject the election results and is using the EC as their ploy.
"I have already said concerning the NDC’s demonstration against the compilation of the new voters’ register is a calculated agenda to reject election 2020 results. All the demonstrations are just to prepare the grounds to reject the 2020 election results and the most interesting aspect is the people they bused to Tamale, Kumasi are the same people who demonstrated in Accra yesterday,” he said on Peace FM’s “Kokrokoo”.
