The Chief of staff Mr Julius Debrah has said the NDC will accept the outcome of the December 7th election, stressing that it is God who appoints leaders.
He gave the assurance at Ho in the Volta region when he and some national and Volta regional executive s of the party and the Volta regional Minister Hon Helen Adjoa Ntoso interacted with representatives of the various christian denomination in the region and seek their continues prayers for the nation for a peaceful election.
Mr Julius Debrah said God has been merciful and gracious to the country adding that with faith in God he will continue to bless the country.
The Moderator of the E. P Church Rev. Dr Seth Agidi who is also the chairman of the Ho branch of the Christian Council of Ghana called for tolerance , decorum and a high sense of maturity by the people . He said even though the country has not experienced any serious political conflict since the inception of the fourth republic recent events in some parts of the country are quite worrying.
Rev. Dr Seth Agidi urged Christian leaders to exhibit a high level of political neutrality.
