Nana Addo is a liar – Lecturer

Professor Emmanuel Osei Acheampong, a Political Science Lecturer at Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) has described President Nana Akufo-Addo as a liar.

Last Sunday, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo categorically stated that his government has no intention introducing a policy in the country’s educational system that will be inimical to the development of basic and Senior High School students.

Reacting to the president’s assertion in an interview monitored by MyNewsGh.com, Prof. Osei said the president and his Government are playing with the minds of Ghanaians.

“The president knows he is telling lies, Ghanaians are not kids to be deceived, Nana Addo and his NPP government are just playing with our mind. The education minister is giving the public different information, and the president is here lying to us. He is a liar”, he told the host Nana Kwabena Addo.

The President said his government as part of efforts to improve Ghana’s education sector introduced a number of policies such as the Free SHS and will not carry out other programs that will lead beneficiaries of these policies astray.

The President’s comments follow the widely talked about Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE).

Critics of the CSE fear the program will introduce children to homosexuality at a very young age.
