Leader of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), Madam Akua Donkor, has described Dr. Paa Kwesi Nduom as an “ingrate” who is full of himself and careless about the time and efforts others have put in to help him.
The PPP, under the patronage of Dr. Paa Kwesi Nduom, recruited Akua Donkor to canvass votes for them after the EC had disqualified her from contesting the 2012 presidential elections.
As part of the package given to her by the PPP, she was seen cruising in a sleek Tundra which was branded with the PPP logo.
Shortly after the elections, series of heated altercations developed between Akua Donkor and the PPP, with the former threatening to “shoot anybody who came close to the Tundra” if they attempt to retrieve “her property”.
She lamented about how helping Dr. Nduom had stalled her from filing parliamentary candidates to represent the Ghana Freedom Party in parliament.
A murky Akua Donkor rhetorically asked the general public if she merits the treatments Dr. Nduom is putting her through. “I wonder if he would treat me like this if I were his wife. How many women have been able to do what I have done?”, she asked.
According to Madam Akua Donkor who spoke on Okay FM’s Ade Akye Abia programme, she only established contact with the PPP flagbearer shortly after she had proved to Ghanaians that she has the capacity to take the political space by storm.
She vowed not to return the vehicle and promised to continue using it as a carrier to offload her farm products to make money.
Though she claimed using ‘billions” to maintain the car, she hinted that she had spec the car to make it useful as a farm equipment.
“I have put a canopy on the Tundra’s bucket so that the rains won’t beat those who sit there and help me on the farm. Maintaining the car is even difficult and I have used more than two billion on fuel only. The car is strong and just an acceleration sound would drain the petrol and I keep fueling it”, she said.
Before ending the phone conversation, she threatened to “curse” Dr. Nduom if he should screw her up again.
