The member of Parliament for the Odododiodioo Constituency in the Greater Accra Region Hon Edwin Nii Lante Vanderpuye has inaugurated a new office for mobilization purposes to begin the re-organisation exercise in the Constituency as part of the efforts by the main opposition National Democratic Congress to address issues of concern to its members.
Hon Nii Lante Vanderpuye who is known as a grassroot man and the longest serving Assembly Member in the Accra Metropolitan Assembly used the occasion to engage opinion leaders from the various ethnic groups in the Old Fadama and Kokomba Yam Market community and members of the National Democratic Congress in his constituency to share ideas on how to mobilize people and make the Party more appealing to the constituents.
He also encouraged the youth that their efforts will not be in vain because the National Democratic Congress will come back to power in the next general election.
In a chat with Ghanapoliticsonline.com, the Member of Parliament said this is the first major event in the process of making the Party more attractive to encourage both executives and members to work harder by mobilizing people for victory 2020.
"We want as many as possible to come out to work for the party and not only the executives", he said.
He also expressed his gratitude towards the National executives and former government appointees who stormed the constituency to make the programme successful.
In attendance were, Madam Anita Jemima Desooso, Kofi Adams, Joshua Hamidu Akamba, Ambassador Moses Magbenba, Former Dep. Chief of Staff Ken Wujanji, Greater Accra regional Chairman of NDC Ade Coker, Yaw Kundo from Hon Dominic Napare, MP, Sene East and Hon Oti Bless, MP of Nkwanta North.
All Constituency Executives of Odododiodioo were also present.
