Managing Editor of the Al Hajj newspaper, Alhaji Bature, has described the entire New Patriotic Party (NPP) as a “Women's Fellowship” institute with “Fear and Panic” as their motto.

According to him, the NPP’s inability to reprimand Kennedy Agyapong in his recent unpardonable utterances has brought the party’s image into disrepute.

However, Bature noted that despite the stalwarts in the NPP, he sees them as “women” jam-packed with fear to take necessary actions when needed.

“All NPP members are women; there is no man in NPP. They are all afraid of Kennedy Agyapong …I will not single out one person, they are all afraid of him. How can just one person torment a whole party? Nobody is bigger than the party…the party (NPP) made him (Ken) the MP,” he posited.

The Assin Central Member of Parliament, Kennedy Agyapong, on NEAT FM Tuesday, threatened to form his own political party if National Chairman for the NPP, Jake Otanka Obetsebi-Lamptey, regains his seat in the upcoming national elections of the party.

Weeks ago, the outspoken NPP MP described all the party national executives as “thieves” for not disbursing funds allotted for the 2012 elections.

Agyapong, however, warned the disciplinary committee of the party that he will only appear before them if they are ready to refund some amount he gave to the party for the election.

Speaking on Adom FM, Alhaji Bature wondered why the NPP will penalize some leading members of the party but fail to call Kennedy Agyapong to order.

“Dr, Wereko-Brobbey, Arthur Kennedy, Nyaho-Tamakloe and Konadu Apraku did not even make the kind of statements Kennedy Agyapong is making now, yet they were punished,” he said.
