SECRET (COVERT) RECORDING’ OF CHARLES QUANSAH VINDICATES GOVT’s. SUSPICION OF PLOT TO SUPPORT RAWLINGS’ WILD ALLEGATIONS!
The recent broadcast and the intended publication of the transcript of a secret (covert) recording of the ‘true confessions’ (courtesy Ghana Palaver) of serial murderer, Charles Quansah, appear to have lent some credence to the suspicion of Government in June/July 2003 that there was a conspiracy by some persons within the Nsawam Medium Security Prison to fabricate evidence in support of the purported innocence of Charles Quansah on one hand and to implicate some NPP Cabinet Ministers in the serial killing of women on the other, in the wake of Ex-President Rawlings’ claim that 15 Senior Cabinet Ministers of the NPP Administration had masterminded the serial murders.
Prison Regulations relative to access to condemned prisoners are so strict and restrictive to the extent that it would take a hell of clandestine effort and high-risk activity for anybody or group of persons to undertake the exercise of recording an inmate of the special condemned cells of Nsawam Medium Security Prison. This high-risk, clandestine exercise can only be undertaken with some level of ‘insider support’ in clear and absolute breach of Prison Standing Orders, and by persons highly motivated to pursue an agenda very dear to their minds and hearts.
Against the backdrop of what the Ghana Palaver and Victor Smith and company have been saying in recent times in connection with the ‘Charles Quansah conviction’ and ‘the significance’ of his (Charles Quansah’s) pronouncement on the tape, some critical questions need to be posed and interrogated.
WHO RECORDED CHARLES QUANSAH AT THE NSAWAM PRISON? FOR WHAT PURPOSE WAS THE RECORDING DONE? HOW WAS IT DONE? AND DO THE RECORDING AND ITS APPLICATION FOR POLITICAL AND PROPAGANDA EFFECT BY VICTOR SMITH AND COMPANY NOT VINDICATE THE GOVERNMENT’S EARLIER SUSPICION THAT THERE HAD BEEN AN ATTEMPT TO ‘FABRICATE EVIDENCE’, USING CHARLES QUANSAH, TO PROVIDE ‘EVIDENCE’ TO SUPPORT THE INFANTILE CLAIMS MADE BY JERRY RAWLINGS, FOUNDER OF THE NDC ON JUNE 4, 2003, TO THE EFFECT THAT 15 SENIOR CABINET MINISTERS OF THE KUFUOR-LED GOVERNMENT WERE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SERIAL MURDERS OF WOMEN IN GHANA BETWEEN 1993 TO 2001?
