The information gathered will be compiled by the FIFA Technical Reports Team and used as a reference for coaching resources, analysts, and football institutions worldwide for educational purposes.
In addition, the technical team will play a key role in selecting winners of individual awards at the tournament, including the Golden Ball, Golden Glove, and Best Young Player honors.
It is worth noting that the committee also includes other top coaches and football officials with in-depth knowledge of the sport and the skills required to perform the assigned roles.
This appointment comes as good news for the former Borussia Dortmund scout, who recently lost his job as Black Stars coach despite qualifying the team for the 2026 World Cup.
