The Managing Director of Kumasi Abattoir, Mr. Joe Owusu has said high electricity tariffs is negatively impacting their business.
According to him, the outrageous bills if not checked could cripple their business.
The situation he lamented will not augur well for them especially when government plans of partnering the private sector to create jobs for the unemployed youth.
He made the call when the Deputy Regional Minister, Hon. Elizabeth Agyemang paid a visit to the facility.
He appealed to government to deliver on the promise in reduce tariffs as promised businesses.
The Deputy Minister on her part said government will take steps to address their concerns.
