More players are buying into the idea of having closer ties with each other as well as fight for the welfare of players through the Professional Footballers Association of Ghana (PFAG).
Earlier this week, a brief but important discussion took place among some of the players with a resolve to do more in this direction.
Among those present were current and ex internationals namely Tony Baffoe, Ibrahim Tanko,Sammy Kuffour, CK Akunnor, Augustine Arhinful, Thomas Duah, Stephen Appiah, Laryea Kinston, Razak Braimah, Awal Mohammed, Emmanuel Agyeman Badu, Jonathan Mensah among others.
PFAG, the umbrella union of the players and FIFpro branch in Ghana is currently at the forefront of mediating for and on behalf of several players home and abroad especially on contractual issues.
The players believe regular interactions will bring closer ties, foster unity and help promote the players interest and more importantly help national teams and clubs to achieve more.
