Red Bull Salzburg midfielder Majeed Ashimeru has revealed that playing behind closed doors feels like training, but insists players understand the current situation.
The Austrian Bundesliga returned last week with the ex-WAFA player featuring for Red Bull Salzburg as they thump TSV Hartberg 6-0 on Sunday.
The 22-year old was also part of the team that beat Austria Lestenaeu to win the OFB Cup a fortnight ago.
"It feels like we are training but when you know the situation we are in, you will really appreciate playing behind closed doors," he told Joy Sports.
"I think we all know what the world is going through so t's nothing we have to complain about. We have to get use to playing behind closed doors and appreciate the situation.
"It feels like training though but we have to get used to it."
Ashimeru has been a key member of Red Bull this season, making 15 appearances and scoring twice as they lead the Bundesliga table.
