Political parties urged to desist from using provocative language

Presidential Aspirant for People’s National Convention Party, Rev. Samuel Adjei-Debrah has called on Ghanaians to desist from politics of violence, insults and hatred.

He advised Ghanaians to stay away from politics which will not hence the promotion of democracy.

For this reason, he said, politicians should desist from insulting one another whenever they mounted platforms to put their messages across.

Rev. Samuel Adjei-Debrah told Reynold Agyemang on ‘Pae Mu Ka’ on Accra-based Kingdom FM 107.7 that,” politics of insults and acrimony must stop and that politicians should talk about issues and programmes that would improve the lives of majority of the people.”

He advised politicians to desist from the politics of insults and acrimony on the airwaves, and to rather channel their energy and resources into voter education to help reduce the number of rejected ballots recorded in each election period.
