President to reshuffle cabinet

Having escaped the jaws of legal impeachment courtesy the Supreme Court ruling last week, signals intercepted by National Digest confirms President Mahama will soon announce a major cabinet reshuffle to give a new image to his government which is labelled the most incompetent in recent times.

Political analysts say the presidents’ ministerial nominees are not only abhorrent, but lack governance experience to push the nation forward.

Kwesi Pratt Jnr, the nation’s most celebrated critique has not hidden his disdain for the presidents nominees and has said on countless platforms that he will want the president to overhaul his team.

Aside of the virulent agitations that has welcomed the president's nominations for the District Assemblies, it is widely perceived that most of the president's appointments were based on appeasement rather than competence.

And as at the time National Digest went to press, nobody had seen a report of the performance agreement the president was said to have signed with his ministers even though the year is in its last quarter.

Intelligence sources at the seat of government say some of the ministers likely to be affected will be Kofi Humado, whose otherwise unblemished reputation has been sullied by the GYEEDA SCANDAL which insiders say was orchestrated by the ambitious Minister for Youth and Sports, Elvis Afriyie Ankrah, who is alleged to be peeved because he was not made the substantive Minister at Local Government where his former boss, Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, was alleged to have colluded with ZOOMLION and Rlg to swindle the state.

Also likely to be affected will be the Defence Minister, Mark Woyongo, who has not been seen in the public glare because of ill health.

The otherwise humble Djifa Ativor, Minister of Transport, who is linked to several scandals yet to be published by the National Digest, is likely to be affected by the shake-up, so also is the Minister of Information, Mahama Ayariga, who is said to be undermined by his Deputy, Murtala Mohammed, who is fast gaining recognition by the Northern Cabal at the Presidency.

Soft spoken Seth Terpker and the lady on the president's side, Hannah Tetteh, will surely maintain their positions even though it is widely speculated that the Mahama brothers have not forgiven Seth Terkper for allegedly masterminding the exit of Ibrahim Adam from ADB as the Board Chairman.

Ibrahim Mahama, businessman and a brother to the president is alleged to have done what he did at Merchant Bank to ADB, and reports say the Nation’s Premier Agricultural Bank will cave in sooner than later.

But expect Dr. Nyaho Nyaho Tamakloe to jump to Ibrahim’s corner when the lid is blown even though he seems to have lost his voice and suddenly developed amnesia in the GYEEDA SCANDAL. Stay tuned for more.
