The National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, has stated that his name has never been associated with corruption cases because he relies on income from his farming activities rather than public funds.

According to him, his large-scale farming ventures provide him with a stable livelihood, eliminating any temptation to engage in corrupt practices.

In a viral video shared by TikToker identified as moshoshotheblogger on March 12, 2026, Asiedu Nketia disclosed that he owns about 500 acres of farmland where he cultivates mangoes and cashew nuts.

“Have you ever heard my name being mentioned in any corruption cases? I will not go and steal state money because I have what takes care of me,” he stated.

He explained that proceeds from his mango and cashew plantations are sufficient to cater for his personal needs and sustain his family outside political gains.

Asiedu Nketiah further emphasised the importance of having a reliable source of income, noting that engaging in productive work helps individuals maintain independence and integrity.

He also encouraged members of the NDC and the general public to pursue vocational and income-generating activities so they would not always have to depend on others for financial support.
