Prophet Badu Kobi reportedly hospitalised after collapsing

A disturbing video of the founder of Glorious Wave Church International, Prophet Badu Kobi, reportedly unwell, has surfaced on social media, leaving netizens worried and concerned about his condition.

In the video shared on X on August 11, 2026, Prophet Badu Kobi was seen lying on a hospital bed at an unnamed private health facility.

According to reports gathered by GhanaWeb, Prophet Badu Kobi is said to have collapsed in the early hours of Tuesday, August 11, 2026.

Narrating what occurred, fellow preacher Seer 1 General noted that Prophet Badu Kobi fainted in the early hours of Tuesday.

He explained that the preacher is currently battling high blood pressure, which he believes could eventually stabilise within a month or two.

“I have been told that Prophet Badu Kobi, after stepping out of his home this morning, suddenly fainted and was rushed to the hospital. He can't eat, drink or do anything, so we are honestly pleading with the NDC officials, President John Dramani Mahama and other party executives to turn their attention towards him because he really needs your help.

“We saw what he went through these past few weeks. Due to that, his blood pressure has really spiked, and we would need assistance from these party executives so we can treat him,” he added.
