It seems most Ghanaians do not understand the basic principles of PRIVACY. This attitude has led to many Africans, including Ghanaians particularly those working in the Healthcare sector ABROAD destroying their careers because they revealed the medical details of a patient or acquaintance. In fact, this is now taken so seriously that in some Western European countries it can now lead to a custodial sentence of from 6 months to 5 years in prison plus dismissal. It has been painful to see this happen to some friends and acquaintances.
LET THIS BE A WARNING TO THOSE OF OUR COMPATRIOTS WORKING IN THE WEST WHO HAVE LOOSE TONGUES OR WHO LACK INTEGRITY AND. In any case remember the Golden Rule: Do to others as you would have them do to you and conversely don’t do to others what you wouldn’t want others to do to you under similar conditions.
