Read the exact opposite of that of the NPP – Sekou to those asking for NDC’s manifesto

Son of Ghana’s first President, Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, Sekou Nkrumah has indicated that the NDC has no significant campaign message for Ghanaians prior to the upcoming 2020 elections.

Wondering why people keep demanding a manifesto from the NDC, Sekou has asked Ghanaians to just get the manifesto of the NPP and read the exact opposite.

In a Facebook post he stated: “why are people asking for the NDC manifesto? They should just get the NPP one and just read the opposite!”

Meanwhile, the opposition party said it has concluded its research and consultations into developing a manifesto which resonates with the needs of the ordinary Ghanaian.

The NDC also hinted that the manifesto is ready and will be outdoored in the coming weeks.

Peoples Manifesto

The NDC is demanding for input from organised groups in putting together its manifesto for the 2020 election, a move that has been hugely criticized by several Ghanaians.

According to the biggest opposition party, to develop a ‘Peoples Manifesto’ that speaks to the direct needs and concerns of the people is very necessary.

The party has requested groups like Civil Society organisations, Trade Unions, Associations and the general public to send their thoughts of not more than four pages to the Office of the General Secretary through the Deputy General Secretary – (Operations) or emailed to ndcmanifesto2020@gmail.com on or before Saturday, 7th December 2019.
