Reverend Isaac Owusu-Bempah, the founder and leader of Glorious Word Power Ministry International, has responded to recent warnings from Apostle Francis Amoako Atta regarding alleged attacks on him by members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Speaking to his congregation on Sunday, September 22, 2024, Owusu-Bempah echoed Apostle Amoako Attah, the founder and leader of the Lord's Parliament Chapel International, asserting that if the NPP fails to desist from attacking the prophet of God, they will face severe consequences.

Addressing the situation, Rev. Owusu-Bempah said, “Apostle Prophet Amoako Atta has said it will go against you people, so be careful. But do you know that what they have done to me will go against them? We shall see."

“You have offended me and apologized, but you are doing the same thing again. This time, you are spreading lies about me and insulting me at the same time. All of us are in Ghana here. I am not God, but I am a prophet of God,” Owusu-Bempah said to his congregation.

He further stated that although some individuals within the NPP have approached him to make amends, he expects those directly responsible for the alleged attacks to personally apologize.

It may be recalled that Apostle Amoako Atta warned the NPP over what he referred to as an attack on his colleague pastor, Rev. Isaac Owusu-Bempah.

“Now I want to warn the NPP, I want to warn you people that Owusu-Bempah has become your target. It won't be a blessing for you. The man is a prophet no matter what. Someone who used his church to gamble for you in 2016, for you to give him the red carpet, why are you now insulting him? Why do you want to drag Owusu-Bempah into the gutters, why?” he questioned angrily.

Amoako Atta criticized the NPP for the treatment of Owusu-Bempah, stating that it was unfair.

Speaking to his congregation on Sunday, September 15, 2024, he stated that if the NPP is now dealing with a different pastor for their affairs, Owusu-Bempah should be given a rest.

“In 2020, he stood up for you, so when things like this happen, it seems ungratefulness has set in. No matter what, Owusu-Bempah is a prophet, so give him every respect he deserves. Those who are going on the radio to insult him should stop because it won't help.

“I know Bawumia is not like that because Bawumia went to his church. This man has fought earnestly. In 2016, no prophet could come out, but this man stood up and said things that God didn’t even say just to help you people,” he lamented.

He explained that targeting Owusu-Bempah, who is a prophet of God, would come at a cost to the party.

He detailed how Owusu-Bempah had helped the NPP since 2016 and how the party is now ditching him.

“So, stop that and leave him alone. If you have a different pastor, go on because, in every dispensation, God raises a man. Owusu-Bempah cannot singlehandedly continue just like that. Give him respect. It is disheartening and I am pained so much it has been on my mind for a long time so let me say it for you to go and tell your leaders.

“You respect men of God so much, Dr. Bawumia, stop this.”
