Ghana goalkeeper Richard Ofori has been named as the third best goalkeeper in the South African topflight league with seven games to the end of the season.
Despite Maritzburg’s poor showing which has seen being relegation bound with just fourteen points, Ofori has been their key man pulling some superb saves.
According to Soccer Laduma. the Ghana Black Stars shot stopper has kept seven clean sheets in 21 League games so far and he is third on the chart behind Patrick Tignyemb (Celtic), Darren Keet (Wits) who have all kept nine clean sheets as well as Ronwen Williams (SuperSport), and Siyabonga Mbatha (AmaZulu) with eight.
Ofori’s exploits have gone unnoticed as Orlando Pirates have made him their number one summer transfer target.
Currently, Ofori is valued at $700,000
