Ghana Black Stars goalkeeper Richard Ofori was the hero of the day for South African Premier League side Maritzburg United as they defeated Amazulu by two goals to one at the Harry Gwala Stadium.
Ofori was handed the captain arm band for the game by coach Eric Tinkler and he was at his usual best as his side continue their fight for survival.
The Ghanaian pulled some fantastic saves before Bandile Shadu netted an own goal to give Amazulu the lead on the stroke of halftime.
Fortune Makaringe equalized for Maritzburg in the 75th minute and Ofori was at work again making three fantastic saves before Judas Mosemaedi scored the winner in 91st minute.
