A former president, a sitting Chief of Staff, royals from across the country and major diplomats were in attendance on Monday evening (May 6) when the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II was celebrated at his 74th birthday dinner.
The colourful ceremony took place at the new Silver Jubilee Hall located at the Manhyia Palace in the heart of Kumasi, the Ashanti Regional capital.
It was a night of glitz, power and style as most male attendees turned up in suits, including the Asantehene and his guest of honour, the Ga Mantse.
